This is a great product. I bought it for Schlitterbahn knowing at some point my Oakleys were gonna end up in the water.. and they sure did!! Totally worked and my glasses were safely floating when they flew off my face in the wave pool. Product is super effective. I thought it would get in the way because it sits on the ear piece of the glasses but I didn’t even notice it there.
I was worried I’d be able to see a big orange blob out of the corner of my eye and it was going to obstruct my view but surprisingly it didn’t. And when I fell off my paddle board in the lake they floated enough to be seen and recover my glasses. I do highly recommend.
I like that this float for your glasses is easy to install and see when you drop your glasses. The float is easy to install, you just slip in your glasses between the two loops then you are good to go. You can barely feel the float and it works with all frames of glasses. I’ve had the thick and thin glasses rims and these work with both of them. I no longer have to worry about my glasses falling off in the water.
Wore these while dolphin riding in Mexico. My glasses didn’t fall off but it was nice to have these just in case.
I tested them out in the sink at home first with no issues.
One time when we went paddleboarding my kids sunglasses fell in and they sank before I could get them. My child was devastated and refused to wear sunglasses paddleboarding ever again. These floaties have renewed their interest in paddleboarding with sunglasses! They are easy to use and have fit both my kid’s and my sunglasses and don’t fall off. We did a test run in the bath and they did well.
This is a great little gadget! I’ve been looking for a way to hang onto my prescription sunglasses while kayaking should I tip over and the typical ‘necklace’ style things weren’t working. This is perfect as you can see by photos! I tried it with just one and then with two attached. One does just fine – so share the spare in this 2-pack with a friend!
These G FLOAT Patented Floating Eyewear Retainer for Sunglass is a must have when wearing glasses on the water. I got these for use at the lake when swimming, floating, jet skiing, paddle boarding or riding on the boat. I have lost a few glasses very unexpectedly. You jump in without thinking about it or they fall/fly off and without a floater like this they sink quickly.
These are made with a simple foam floater and stretchable silicone straps so they fit on most eyewear ear pieces. You only need to wear on one side however there might be a need if the glasses are very heavy to wear it on both ear pieces. Depending on what you are doing, these are more comfortable than having a strap dangling down or blowing in the wind as you move. These work quite well and are easy to keep attached to your glasses, so I recommend for your water/beach bag for securing eyewear when on the water.
These are wonderful! We’ve lost sunglasses in the lake more time than I want to admit. These are perfect! Light and not cumbersome at all! Don’t even notice it!
It works as described, I like it better than the ones that go around your neck. Only con is that the material is some kind of foam and is delicate so not sure how durable this will be (will update in a few months)
I am an avid SUPer, these small floaties fit on the bow of my glasses. If I go fo a dunk and my expensive glasses come off, this little gadget allows them to float so I can retrieve. Sorta of a PFD for your shades. Well worth the purchase. Many colors to choose also

This keeps our glasses afloat. Before wearing it to the lake, we threw the glasses into a tub of water to make sure it keeps them floating on the surface. It does the job but I’m glad I ordered the bright yellow because the glasses float with the one ear piece and float being flat on top of the water. The bright yellow makes it easier to spot. I was concerned that the float would limit my field of vision but it does not. Much easier to take off this float than around the neck styles that fit so snugly on the ear pieces that I’m afraid I’ll break my glasses trying to remove it. Like this float so much that I’ll be ordering more so we never again have a very expensive pair of prescription glasses laying somewhere on the bottom of the lake!!
I lost a hat in the water. It floated for a bit on its own, and I knew exactly where it was, but it was grey and impossible to spot in the water. This small, lightweight, orange float is perfect.
We use these on our kids goggles at the lake. It’s 23 feet down and too dark to see much at the bottom, so we learned after losing a couple pairs that we needed a float! These slip on easy and work great! The kids were worried they’d be annoying to swim with but after their first try they realized they didn’t even notice.
If you value you’re glasses, make sure to have a pair of these. I would recommend the bright colors over the black though, since it’s easier to spot in floating.
After losing a very expensive pair of prescription glasses in the lake this summer while boating I purchased these for the whole family. They worked great. My daughter and I did practice runs in the sink before using them on the lake and they worked. Used these for swimming in the ocean also this summer and had no problems retrieving our sunglasses.
